IgA Nephropathy is one primary glomerular disease that is due to different factors. In most cases, IgA Nephropathy is characterized by the deposition of polymer IgA (PIgA) along with C3, IgG and IgM. It means abnormal IgA immune system leads to the presence of PIgA in circulatory system and its deposition in glomerular mesangial area. In addition, the onset of IgA Nephropathy may also have a link with bone marrow and inflammatory factors secreted by mesangial cells.

According to pathologic changes, IgA Nephropathy is divided into five classes. Generally, most glomeruli and renal tubules are not damaged in the early stage.
